Erik van Veenendaal – President
Erik van Veenendaal (www.erikvanveenendaal.nl) is leading international consultant, trainer, and recognized expert in software testing and quality.
Erik is the author of a number of books and papers, one of the core developers of the TMap testing methodology and the TMMi improvement model, a participant in working parties of the International Software Testing Qualification Board (ISTQB), and currently CEO of the TMMi Foundation.
He is a frequent keynote and tutorial speaker at international testing conferences. For his major contributions to the field of testing, Erik received the European Testing Excellence Award (2007) and the ISTQB International Software Testing Excellence Award (2015). Cai Walters – Vice President / Exam officer
Cai Walters CISA, CISM, Network+, Security + has more than 25 years of experience in IT Industry of the financial sector. He has worked in various roles amongst others: systems analyst/programmer; head of the systems development department; project manager; IT Auditor; policy writer; and IT security management consultant. He is the co-founder of the ISACA Curaçao Chapter and immediate past President. His current role is Marketing, Communication and Membership Director. He is an accredited COBIT 5.0 trainer.
He was the lead writer to compose the IT regulations (Provisions and Guidelines) for the country of Curaçao and Sint Maarten for Business Continuity Management, Information Security Management, IT Service Management and gave input to write the Provisions and Guidelines for E-Banking. During his career he has seen many data centers and examined many organizations in the area of IT Governance, Information Security Management, Business Continuity Management, IT Service Management, System Development and Maintenance and Outsourcing. He holds a degree in Business Administration and Computer Science from the University of Applied Sciences in Utrecht, the Netherlands. In more recent years he has studied various ISO standards and also Prince 2, and COBIT 5.
Saida Ugueto – Secretary
Saida's background is in senior functional management, which involves the functional testing of software and organizing and managing user acceptance testing (UAT) as an important part of the work activities. In her current position, Team Leader / Coordinator Functional Management at the Rijksdienst of Caribbean Netherlands on Bonaire, Saida leads a team of functional managers.
In addition to Curaçao, the field of testing could also professionalize on Bonaire. Saida would like to contribute to this professionalization.
She is one of the co-founders of the Curaçao Testing Qualification Board, CTQB, and has been living on Bonaire since 2012.
Jacques Heide – Treasurer
Jacques Heide, started his career in software application development in The Netherlands at various system houses. He developed applications for high school students, energy management, pension software and other user and utility applications. He was a C programming teacher and taught students on software applications.
He is currently a project manager and consultant advising boards and IT managers regarding IT governance, information security, business continuity and testing. He holds certifications on different fields of project management, information security, six sigma. He holds a masters degree in Applied Physics and a masters degree in Computer Science of the University Groningen. In more recent years he implemented or guided various ISO standards, information security frameworks, Prince2 and Agile project management and the ITSM and COBIT frameworks.
Coen Terpstra – Accreditation officer
Coen Terpstra is an ISTQB accredited Test Coordinator and one of the founder member of the Curacao Testing Qualification Board. He has extensive experience in the testing of (web) applications, web portals and the various testing phases like system testing and acceptance testing.
As a test coordinator Coen is also very familiar with the challenges of delivering quality and staying within budget en time. He gained his experiences mainly at government organizations like the Tax Offices, Statistics and Ministry of Health in the Netherlands and the Dutch Caribbean.
In the Caribbean Coen has been working on establishing testing departments and implementing testing at various government organizations.
Jay Albertoe - Member
Jay was born in Curaçao and finished his study Information and Communication Technology successfully in 2009 in the Netherlands. During his career he has gained extensive experience in software testing and software developing.
The last couple of years Jay has been doing more security testing. Before he came to Curaçao, after 18 years in the Netherlands, Jay bacame a Certified Ethical Hacker.
As of July 2017 he moved to Curaçao and joined the team as a Security Tester at BearingPoint.
Pauline Alfonso - Member
Pauline Alfonso is an experienced Consultant with a demonstrated history of working in the information technology. Pauline has a passion for Quality Assurance and is a certified Agile ISTQB and TMAP test coordinator. In the past she has coordinated testteams in Netherlands and Curaçao. For some years she is working in Information Management and has implemented Document Management and Workflow solutions using Decos (JOIN) at many customers.
Furthermore, Pauline has a background in Oracle, Data Warehousing and Oracle Application Express. She is a strong consulting professional with two Bachelor degrees: one focused in business intelligence and software development from Twente instituut voor informatisering and one in Technical Physics from Hogeschool Enschede (Saxion).
